Missi Young

Missi has been volunteering in the garden since the very beginning. The garden is near and dear to Missi’s heart as it’s named to honor her parents, Don and Betty Fields, and is located in the neighborhood where she grew up. Missi’s passion for flower farming developed while growing and selling flowers at the Farmers Market at Minnestrista in Muncie. For five years, she and a friend sold flowers to residents and local florists.

Her favorite flowers to grow are zinnias for their brilliant colors and sunflowers for their sunny disposition!
